​Luis Borunda is the first Hispanic in Maryland history to serve as the Maryland Deputy Secretary of State.  Mr. Borunda has been appointed to many State Boards and Commissions during the tenure of two Govenors.

Mr. Borunda is regularly shares his story with diverse audiences, including high school, college students and government agencies. He is the father of six and has been married to his wife Sharon since 1984.
