During 2007-2008, the Maryland Hispanic Youth Symposium and the Achieve Forum were enhanced. The Maryland Hispanic Youth Symposium has been relocated to Towson University due to the increase in the number of students attending the Symposium as well as the convenience of Towson’s campus.

The Achieve Forum has also increased the number of students attending the program as well as expanded to two colleges: Towson University and University of Baltimore. USHYEE continues to establish partnerships with the business community, school systems, and colleges and universities to encourage Maryland Hispanics youth to remain in high school and to pursue college degrees.
